Will my customers mind that it's AI?
Most won't. The ones who clock it don't usually mind — people prefer AI to voicemail. They got answered, their question handled, a follow-up text in their pocket. That beats 'leave a message after the beep' from the next name on Google. Better Half uses your business name, asks the right questions, and sounds like a real Australian receptionist.
Will it book jobs without asking me?
Only what you've said it can. By default, the AI offers a time, holds the slot tentatively, and waits for you to confirm with one tap — your diary stays yours. If you want the simple jobs auto-booked (after-hours lockouts, sensor lights, basic service calls), tick those services as AI-bookable on your rate card. Anything you haven't ticked still comes to you as a tentative time. You pick the surface area; the AI works inside it.
Can I keep my number?
Yes. You set up call forwarding from your current number — when you can't answer, your Better Half picks up. Your number doesn't change. Your customers won't notice a thing.
Can I bail if it's not working out?
Cancel anytime in the app. No lock-in. No penalty. If you got a Better Half number, we'll help you move it to any carrier for free.
How fast can I be up and running?
